吕涛，男，教授，博士生导师。2010年12月毕业于华中科技大学武汉光电国家研究中心并获得电子科学与技术专业工学博士学位。2012年3月至2013年4月获得国家公派出国留学项目全额资助赴德国吕贝克大学生物医学与光子学研究所、医用激光研究中心从事博士后研究。2014年至2017年在中国地质大学（武汉）地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室从事博士后研究。2010年12月破格副教授，2015年12月晋升教授，2016年4月任博士生导师。入选湖北省新世纪高层次人才工程和武汉市青年科技晨光计划，2016年12月入选“地大学者”。目前主要从事智能地学分析仪器、机器视觉、机器学习处理光谱数据、激光微区化学分析、激光诱导击穿光谱方面的研究工作。国际著名期刊Scientific reports、Optics Letters、Sensors and Actuators A、Applied Optics、Applied Physics Letters、Applied Physics A审稿人。已主持国家自然科学基金等6个纵向项目，发表SCI检索论文50余篇，申请国家发明专利10余项，已获国家授权发明专利3项，出版学术专著1 部。指导博士后、博士生、硕士生近20人。
