研究兴趣:
长江流域干湿古气候;气候临界点(tipping point);古气候与古文明
研究方向:
1. 长江中游不同时间尺度干湿古气候:中国中部古水文的复杂性,开展不同时间尺度上,包括短时间尺度百年、十年、年际尺度以及更长的千年、轨道,冰期-间冰期时间尺度古水文过程重建和机理研究。
2. 石笋记录的古气候季节性研究:解析古气候长期变化趋势中蕴含的季节性古气候信息,实现古气候研究与现代气象观测在尽可能类似的时间分辨率上进行互补研究。
3. 洞穴沉积过程的模拟和理论计算:建立洞穴系统室内模拟装置,通过理论模型,对岩溶水运移和石笋沉积过程中元素分配、同位素分馏进行定量化研究。
4. 石笋新指标研究:开展洞穴现代过程监测,同时利用过去两百年沉积的石笋样品,开展月/季节分辨率的碳氧同位素,微量元素,非传统稳定同位素研究,分析各种代用指标组成变化,查明石笋中各种代用指标对环境参数的响应机制,建立有效的干湿气候代用指标。
5. 利用石笋Clumped-isotope重建第四纪古温度变化:利用碳酸盐岩团簇同位素这种新技术方法,建立洞穴系统温度校正体系,研究区域古温度变化。
