    Description of Research Group:Our group is orientated to national needs, focusing on extreme weather and climate processes such as tornadoes, heavy rain, droughts, rain, snow and ice, researching the mechanism, monitoring and prediction of extreme weather and climate, early warning, carrying out short-term proximity and extended period forecasting of extreme weather and climate as well as hydrogeological hazards, and exploring the changes in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather and climate in the context of global change, as well as its social and economic impacts.
