Tian Yiping (1973.04 -), Ph.D., Professor, winner of Hubei Provincial Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. His main research directions include geoscience 3D visualization (VR, AR), geological big data, geoscience process simulation, independent development of 3D visualization software platform, etc. More than 20 papers were employed by SCI, EI, etc. He won first prize for technological invention in Hubei Province, second prize and third prize for provincial scientific and technological progress, and third prize for scientific and technological progress in surveying and mapping.

 

He has successively presided over / participated in more than 20 major projects such as Hubei provincial science foundation projects for distinguished young scholars, major national science and technology projects, national key fund projects, National 863 projects, national 973 projects, etc. As the first inventor, he obtained 3 invention patents. Some innovative achievements have been made in the visualization of geological data, the development of three-dimensional geology visualization platform software, the mixed volume element data model and the local rapid updating of geological bodies. He has been engaged in scientific research projects in glass earth (glass land), urban geology, digital oil field (smart oil field), engineering geology, disaster geology, digital mine, digital hydrology etc.

 

He and his team independently developed the platform software Quantyview and IMAGIS.
