梁任星，博士，中国地质大学（武汉），生物地质与环境地质国家重点实验室，研究员，博士生导师。国家青年人才项目获得者，博士毕业于美国俄克拉荷马大学，先后在俄克拉荷马大学和普林斯顿大学从事博士后研究。主要从事深地地质微生物学研究，采用地球化学手段与多组学方法研究深部地下的微生物多样性，生物地球化学过程及其生态环境效应。近年来共发表论文30余篇，其中多篇发表于Microbiome、EST、AEM、eLife等国际重要期刊。相关研究成果得到了NASA, ScienceDaily，Scientific American 和 The Scientist等政府机构和国际媒体的报道。
