中国地质大学（武汉）二级教授，博士生导师。从事地质工程、安全工程领域的教学与科学研究，研究方向为地质灾害成生演化机理、科学防控技术及方法创新与实践等，专注管道地质灾害研究与咨询服务20余年。在国内外学术期刊发表论文120余篇，出版专著6部，参编教材2部，参编国标或行业规范4部，获授权国家发明专利10项；获省部级科技奖励5项。
