Description of Publication:本书收集了作者及团队长期在我国东部渤海湾盆地、珠江口盆地和鄂尔多斯盆地等科研实践中实地观察的露头和岩心资料，希望通过详实的解译，提供一套较系统的露头和岩心沉积学分析的参考书。除了露头-岩心观察描述的基础知识介绍之外，本文的特色是：（1）从对比的角度，归纳总结了不同沉积相类型的识别要点；（2）列举了丰富的露头-岩心照片，并采取整体与局部现象相结合，“所见即所得”，方便理解。（3）立足于沉积相类型的解译，而不是单一图片来说明某种沉积构造。
