主要从事超级电容器、锂离子、锌离子电池材料设计制备及新能源电池的研究。部分研究结果如下:
在镍网基底上得到了结构和形貌可控的NiCo2O4/C纳米片阵列(Chemical Communications, 2014, 50(63):8697)等并研究了其在超级电容器方面的应用,研究了阵列的可控制备、相转变和电化学性能测试。提出了在弱还原气体钴酸镍的相转变机理,下图即为钴酸镍在乙炔气体下被还原过程中发生的 化学反应过程和拓扑转变分析。

合成得到了结构可控的CoO/C纳米线阵列(Journal of Materials Chemistry A, 2014, 2(30):11776-11783),其中碳壳层大部分为晶态碳层,极大提升了电极材料的导电性和电化学性能。
