Tu Yinan is a Associate Professor and Associate Dean in Faculty of Law at Public Administration School, China University of Geosciences. She is also a Researcher in the Key Laboratory of Rule of Law Research of the Ministry of Natural Resources. She is a scholar in transnational mining Law and natural resources law whose research explores some of the most challenging and complex issues in mining and energy law sector. Her recent scholarship has sought to contribute to Chinese Critical Minerals laws and to creatively expand the methods for studying mining law. She is the recipient of numerous awards including, most recently, the 2022 Prize for the Best teacher, 2021 Prize for the Best supervisor of graduation thesis.
Dr. Tu Yinan completed a Bachelor of Law, Master of Law and a doctorate in law at Wuhan University Institute of International Law. From 2015 to 2016, she was a visiting scholar at Moritz College of Law, Ohio State University. She has presided over 13 national and ministerial research fund. She has published 1 monograph, edited or co-edited 3 textbooks, and published 25 research papers in legal journals.
