Dr. SONG Dongdong is a Young Distinguished Talent of China University of Geosciences Scholar and Associate Professor of Law, and serves as the Vice President of Hubei Institute of Intellectual Property and Innovation Development, Deputy Secretary-General of Wuhan Intellectual Property Research Association, Research Fellow of Key Laboratory of Rule of Law Research, Ministry of Natural Resources; Director of the Legal Education Research Association of Hubei law society and Director of environmental law research society of Hubei law society.

Dr. Song received his LL.B, LL.M, and PhD degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. He received another Master of Laws Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from University of Missouri-Columbia in USA, and another Joint PhD degree from City University of Hong Kong. He worked as a research fellow in City University of Hong Kong.

Currently, he is concentrating his researches in law and policy concerning climate change and renewable energy, nature resources and intellectual property right issues.
