Jun JIN, currently a professor in China University of Geosciences. He received his Ph. D from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). Later, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2016-2019). In 2019, he worked as a professor in China University of Geosciences.

 His research is focused on the design and synthesis of low dimensional nanostructures, hierarchical micro/nano-structures and two-dimensional materials (e.g. MXene); 3D printing and laser manufacturing of electrodes; energy storage (e.g., lithium/sodium ion batteries and lithium sulfur batteries) and capacitive deionization, and catalysis. Up to now, he has published over 100 SCI papers in international high-level journals, 1 English chapter, 1 Chinese chapter, 15 patents. The total citation is over 3800 with h-index of 35. As the first/corresponding author, he published over 30 papers in top journals (such as National Science Review, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Science, Nano Energy, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Engineering Journal, Desalination, Nanoscale, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Journal of Alloys and Compounds) and 1 chapter. Among them, 2 papers were selected as cover and back cover. He serves as the Topics Editor Member of  journal Materials and the reviewer of Journal of Materials Chemistry A and other journals.
