涂东，中国地质大学（武汉）材料与化学学院特任教授。2015年于日本九州大学物质理工学获得博士学位，2016年入选日本学术振兴会JSPS研究员计划，曾担任日本产业技术综合研究所JSPS研究员及武汉大学高级研究员等，主要从事以应力发光技术为基础的应力应变分析，应力发光现象的机制探明，以及应力传感应用探索研究。截至目前，已在Advanced Materials，Advanced Functional Materials，Light Science & Applications，Nano Energy，Small，Journal of the Physical Chemistry Letters等国际重要期刊上发表SCI收录论文30余篇，h指数17。相关成果同时获国内外专利授权共9项，其中中国专利4项，日本专利3项，美国授权专利1项，欧洲授权专利1项。目前担任中国稀土学会光电材料与器件专业委员会理事，SCI期刊《Materials》客座编辑和专题编辑，《发光学报》青年编委等学术职务，曾主持国家自然科学基金面上项目，青年项目，日本学术振兴会科研费等多项国内外研究课题，曾担任Advanced Materials，Advanced Functional Materials，ACS Nano，Advanced Optical Materials等期刊的审稿专家，并曾获得日本陶瓷学会，美国材料学会，斯坦福大学和北海道大学等颁发的多个学术奖项。
