个人简介Personal Profile

刘袁缘,女,1984年,人工智能系教师,博士,副教授,博士生导师,中国计算机学会会员,IEEE会员,香港中文大学(深圳)机器人与人工智能研究院 客座副研究员。研究方向包括(1)计算机视觉中自然场景人脸属性分析,包括人脸检测、特征点定位、姿态估计、表情识别、人脸修复等;(2)无人驾驶和智能交通系统中的视觉感知,包括图像和视频中的多目标检测、场景语义分割、图像理解等的研究工作。

        目前正承担了4项国家自然科学基金、2项国家重大研发计划子课题、武汉市科技局项目一项、航天基金一项、横向委托合同1项;已完成了1项国家自然科学基金、1项省部级课题、1项中央高校共建项目。公开发表高水平SCI/EI论文25余篇,参编专著2部;担任《Pattern recognition》、Neurocomputing》、Multimedia and tools application》、《IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering》、《 International Journal of Remote Sensing》、《IEEE Access》、《计算机学报》《测绘学报》国际期刊和国际会议审稿人。

Research Area

My research interests fall into the areas of computer vision, emotion computing, image and video understanding, etc. More specifically, I am interested in the following topics::

· Head pose estimation, facial expression recognition, facial AU detection, and facial feature localization in unconstrained environment

· Human computer interface including emotion computing, group emotion recognition, and multi-model emotion recognition 

· Image/video recognition and understanding including scene recognition, object detection, and action recognition
