Personal Profile

Jun JIN, currently a professor in China University of Geosciences. He received his Ph. D from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). Later, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2016-2019). In 2019, he worked as a professor in China University of Geosciences.

 His research is focused on the design and synthesis of low dimensional nanostructures, hierarchical micro/nano-structures and two-dimensional materials (e.g. MXene); 3D printing and laser manufacturing of electrodes; energy storage (e.g., lithium (sodium/potassium) ion batteries and lithium sulfur batteries) and capacitive deionization, and catalysis. Up to now, he has published  over 80 SCI papers in international high-level journals, 1 English chapter, 1 Chinese chapter, 15 patents. The total citation is more than 3200 with h-index of 31. As the first/corresponding author, he published ~ 30 papers in top journals (such as National Science Review, Advanced Science, Nano Energy, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Engineering Journal, Nanoscale,  Journal of Materials Chemistry C) and 1 chapter. Among them, 2 papers were selected as cover and back cover. He serves as the Topics Editor Member of  journal Materials and the reviewer of Journal of Materials Chemistry A and other journals.
