Jun JIN, currently a professor in China University of Geosciences. He received his Ph. D from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT). Later, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2016-2019). In 2019, he worked as a professor in China University of Geosciences.

  His research is focused on the synthesis and modification of layered materials (e.g., MXene, TMCs, Na_xTMO₂); 3D printing of hierarchically micro/nano-structured electrodes; rechargeable batteries (e.g., lithium-/sodium-ion batteries and lithium-sulfur batteries) and capacitive deionization. Up to now, he has published over 100 SCI papers in international high-level journals  (such as National Science Review, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Science, Nano Energy, Small, Small Method, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Engineering Journal, Desalination), 1 English chapter, 1 Chinese chapter, 15 patents. Among them, 2 papers were selected as cover and back cover. The total citation is over 4600 with h-index of 37. He serves as the Topics Editor Member of Frontiers in Chemistry and the reviewer of Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Funct. Mater., and other journals.
