自2008年7月起在中国地质大学（武汉）地球科学学院地球生物系从事教学科研工作。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目3项，科技部科技基础性专项项目的课题1项，参与国家自然科学基金重点项目2项，面上项目2项。曾获教育部百篇优秀博士论文提名奖、教育部自然科学一等奖（排名第3）。
主要研究兴趣：高精度地层学，极端温室期生物与环境事件。
